Ozymandias

I met a traveler from an antique land Who said: `Deuce vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand, Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled mouth, and sneer of cold control, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which thus far survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed. And along the pedestal these words come out -- "My name is Ozymandias, top executive of kings: Look happening my kit and boodle, ye Mighty, and despair!" Nothing beside clay. Round the delapidate Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare The unsocial and level sands unfold far away.'
